This year again the MDRC is proud to offer 6 student travel awards of $700 each, for MSc, PhD students as well as post-doc. The awards have to be used to cover registration fees and travel expenses for MDRC students that will give an oral or poster presentation in a scientific meeting.

We planed two series of awards this year; the first one (4 awards) for meeting that have been held in spring and summer and the second serie (2 awards) for fall and winter meetings.

Students are invited to submit their candidature before August 15, 2010 by sending the following documents:

  • Proof of registration
  • A submitted & accepted abstract
  • Title, location and date of the meeting
  • The CV of the student

Please send the above requested documents to Sylvie Roy (sylvie.roy.chum@ssss.gouv.qc.ca).

Late in August, a committee will be formed to select the recipients who will be notify early in September.

Good luck to all.
